Shop More Since its founding in 1959 Oak Ridge High School has built a strong tradition of athletic excellence at the local state national and international levels. The school takes pride in being home to two former Pioneer track athletes who competed in the Olympic Games as well as a former coach who became only the second high school coach to be named to an Olympic team staff. Over the years Oak Ridge has produced more than 60 high school AllAmerican athletes with several Pioneer coaches earning inductions into local state and national Hall of Fames.
