The Blue Ribbon Run held in Wilmington, N.C. raises money and awareness to fight colorectal cancer. March is colorectal cancer awareness month. To raise awareness of colorectal cancer through promotion of early detection and screening. To continue to fund research with UNC Lineberger Cancer Center so that one day we will hopefully find a cure.

Brown and Christina Gianoplus. At just 41 both women bravely faced colorectal cancer leaving a legacy that continues to drive our mission. Our mission is twofold to raise critical funds and awareness for colorectal cancer and to support the vital research through the endowment established in their honor at the UNCLineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
