More specifically, its aim is to improve the lives, livelihood, health, education, and future prospects of the people on Rusinga Island, Kenya, by partnering with the Community-Based Organization CENTER FOR ADVOCACY AND INTERVENTIONS ON TALENT, HEALTHCARE AND SANITATION (CAITHS) and its educational arm, the KATHY AND MIKE MCNULTY ACADEMY (KMMA).

Friends of KMMA-CAITHS On an island decimated by AIDS children are finding hope. Supporting the people of Rusinga Island Kenya. Rusinga Island comprises many small villages supported primarily by fishing and subsistence farming. With one of the highest rates of HIVAIDS infections in the world a growing number of widows and orphans struggle to feed themselves and their families.
