We are incredibly grateful to the Junior League of Birmingham for awarding First Light the JLB Beeson Community Fund grant of $100,000 and to the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham for their generous $50,000 grant. Both of these organizations have chosen to partner with First Light as we look toward the future and explore how we can better serve the individuals who come to us for help. These vital funds move us closer to our goal of supporting more single women and women with children who are experiencing homelessness.
