ALL ABOUT UNDERSTANDING OUR PURPOSE IS TO MENTOR THE YOUTH (AGES 12-25) OF LAWTON-FT.SILL WITH PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON UNDERSTANDING ONESELF AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF LIFE SKILLS THROUGH OUR CURRICULUM, "KNOW YOURSELF, BE YOURSELF."EACH COMPONENT OF THE CURRICULUM IS PRESENTED IN A SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL LEARNING PLATFORM. WE COMBINE TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITIES TO TEACH OUR YOUTH THE VALUE OF SELF-AWARENESS AND IMPORTANCE OF DEVELOPING LIFE SKILLS TO PREPARE THEM FOR A SUCCESSFUL FUTURE. THE SUCCESS OF OUR PROGRAM RELIES ON OUR EDUCATION, WISDOM GAINED FROM LIFE EXPERIENCES, AND OUR ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE TO THE YOUTH ON THEIR LEVEL.TOPICS INCLUDE SELF-AWARENESS(THE FOUNDATION OF OUR PROGRAM), HOW TO COMMUNICATE THROUGH ALL EMOTIONS, FINDING LEADERSHIP QUALITIES WITHIN THEMSELVES, DECISION MAKING, FRIENDS VS ASSOCIATES, SOCIAL MEDIA ETIQUETTE, AND CHARACTER AND INTEGRITY.
