Cancer Aid and Research Fund is an national/international organization that provides information & assistance to the general public concerning cancer & other degenerative diseases & provides grants and medical supplies and equipment to hospitals and clinics that treat cancer and other degenerative diseases. Since 1989 the Cancer Aid and Research Fund has been focusing on the challenge of providing aid and support to programs working to find a cure for cancer. CARF believes that support groups for cancer patients are a vital part of their treatment and rehabilitation. CARF's efforts are directed at making these support groups available. Working with the victims of cancer, providing educational, emotional and spiritual support is at the core of our programs. As an organization that is totally dependent on public support, CARF looks for the most cost effective ways to provide vital educational materials about nutrition, integrative and alternative treatments for cancer and other degenerative diseases. CARF ships containers of medical supplies, medical equipment and humanitarian aid to hospitals and clinics in 3rd world countries that treat cancer and other degenerative diseases. These hospitals and clinics are in desperate need of supplies and equipment.
