The world's largest free kayaking organization The Downtown Boathouse's mission is to provide public access to the water for all. We accomplish this through our free kayaking program. Everything at the boathouse is free and we have an all volunteer staff.

The Worlds Largest Free Kayaking Program Promoting Public Access To The Water For All Free Kayaking We are closed for the 2024 season and will reopen in late May 2025 We often have to close our signup line early due to the great demand. Please come early if you want to go kayaking. First Come First Served You must know how to swim. if under 18 years old parent or legal guardian must be present.
