This non-profit corporation was organized and operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of 501(C)(3) of the IRC and specifcially for the primary purposes of (1) providing free tax assistance to low-to-moderate income Hawaii residents in conjunction with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program of the IRS to enable Hawaii residents to save money while complying with their tax obligations which serves the public interest and (2) providing educational workshops and materials to the general public relating to financial literacy with a focus on preventing tax-related debt.
