Indigenous Peoples Impact of the Railroad Spring Farm Life Our Heroes Established in 1995 the Spring Historical Museum strives to preserve the rich heritage of the area. Completed in 1948 as a church it then served for a number of years as a courthouse. Years later standing unused the Spring Historical Society had the vision and tenacity to transform the building into the treasure it is today. Old Town Spring nestled within the Town of Spring Texas is steeped in history as an 18thcentury farming community and 19thcentury railroad hub now a Texas Historic Landmark.
