Ishara House, a home for orphaned and vulnerable children was founded in 2016 by Clare Campbell and Herman Chirihambali in Minova, DR Congo. Congo Threads provides the finacial support to the 55 children that reside at the Ishara House Orphanages. Congo threads is the stateside fundraising operations that raises the money needed to operate thew facilities in Minova Democratic Republic of Congo. We partner with a DRC registered nonprofit - Flourish Together - who provides staff supervision food guidance counseling school and medical needs for the 55 children in the program.

Congo Threads Our mission is to establish environments of safety and support for both children and adults in the Congo so that their lives may be transformed as they realize the benefits of health and education and acquire the skills that lead to sustainable incomes. It starts with saving the children. Orphans growing and thriving at Ishara House Goal One SAFETY Ishara House offer orphans a refuge from their struggles on the street. Children are brought to us dirty malnourished and often sick with no one to care for them.
