Due to funding and staffing challenges, the state transferred the operation to Russell-Shea Growers, allowing the garden to continue serving as a vital resource for the community.

They partner with The Friendly Kitchen, a Concord-based food security charity, to maintain plots dedicated to producing food for those in need.
