THE LMCA SEEKS TO COMBAT COMMUNITY DETERIORATION AND LESSON THE BURDENS OF GOVERNMENT. THE OBJECTIVES OF THE LMCA ARE TO PROMOTE RESTORATION, MAINTENANCE, AND VITALITY OF THE LAKE AND SURROUNDING AREAS FOR PUBLIC ENJOYMENT. THE LMCA ADDITIONALLY PROMOTES PUBLIC EVENTS AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES SURROUNDING THE LAKE.
