A 1975 graduate of Savannah State University with a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. I began my career with a strong foundation in both technical expertise and leadership I continue to build on throughout my distinguished career. Over the decades, I have contributed to technology development and systems management for industry leaders including Harris Computer Systems, Xerox Corporation, Compaq Computers, Philips Semiconductors, CalAmp Corporation and Becton Dickinson and Company. One of my greatest achievements was at Compaq Computers where I served as the first and only African American to serve as an Engineering Manager reporting to one of its three (3) Company founders. I am currently applying my deep technical knowledge and project leadership skills as a Project Manager at Advanced Control Systems. I am a proud member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). I remain actively engaged with the engineering community and am committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancement. I was initiated into Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. on December 2, 1972, at Savannah State University; Gamma Chi Chapter, reflecting a lifelong dedication to leadership, service, and excellence.
