Makor Chaim seeks to restore this tripartite balance in our students, both young and old, by a rare synthesis of a high level intellectual pursuit inspired by our founder Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz; the warmth and intimate joy of “Chassidut Eretz Yisrael” pioneered by Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Dov Singer and their joint inclusive approach: Rather than have religiosity isolate us, we seek to empower development of an inner spiritual consciousness in a way that is open and integrative - engaging the world at large.

Makor Chaim – Choose Life MAKOR CHAIM SOURCE OF LIFE Makor Chaim was established in 1985 by the late Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz together with Rabbi Dov Singer who continues to lead the organization ever since. In more recent years he was joined by Rabbi David Rabinowitz as coRosh Yeshiva. Makor Chaim is renowned for the unique educational methods developed by Rabbi Dov Singer which empower the creation of a spiritually honest deep and attentive relationship between the students and teachers between man and his Gd and between man and his fellow man. The original tools we developed show a deep correlation between our unique educational culture and the academic and spiritual success of those who study with us.
