The Tennessee Justice Center is a non-profit public interest law and advocacy firm fighting for health and against hunger since 1996 Tennessee Justice Center is a nonprofit public interest law & advocacy firm serving families in need. Tennessee Justice Center (TJC) uses the law and advocacy to advance economic, racial, and social justice by relentlessly working to ensure that Tennesseans can meet their most basic needs and have a pathway to opportunity. TJC helps Tennesseans one-by-one and takes what we learn from their stories to advocate for large-scale changes that help others in the same circumstances. TJC advocates on behalf of Tennesseans in areas of public policy having the greatest impact on their health and welfare; by means which afford clients opportunities to make their own voices heard; and which emphasize collaboration across lines of race, class, and generation.
