BCMTA is the local chapter affiliate of theFlorida State Music Teachers Associationand theMusic Teachers National Association. Since its inception in 1965 BCMTA has continued to offer pedagogical workshops performance and composition competitions music theory and ear training. History of BCMTA The Broward County Music Teachers Association was established in the autumn of 1965.
