Resharing @mcbridegallery This week at McBride Gallery, we shine a spotlight on Christine Drewyer, whose soft tonal landscapes, evoke qualities of mystery and subtle drama. Often featuring a celestial component which shimmers an ethereal reflection into a marsh or a stream. The effect provides the viewer a foray into an ephemeral, and dream like version of the landscape. The artist is known for painting the in between times of dawn or dusk, enhancing the atmospheric quality of the land. Her particular voice amplifies a romanticized version of nature. The result is a sense of timelessness. Featured Works: The Way Through 30x30 Threshold 24x30 Peonies 8x8 Come in and personally experience these shimmering landscapes in all their depth and quiet harmony. Now on view at McBride Gallery.
