Transforming communities affected by poverty, HIV & AIDS & gender-based violence in Southern Africa E3's vision is to bring transformation to communities affected by poverty and HIV and AIDS in Southern Africa. We work through local churches because they understand the needs in their communities and can respond in a sustainable way. We empower their leaders through training and financial support so they can bring hope in the midst of poverty and despair. For example, work includes support for people living with HIV and orphaned and vulnerable children, microfinance groups to improve livelihoods, encouraging people to speak out about gender-based violence and raising awareness of substance abuse and addiction.
