🌟 HOPE ON THE HORIZON FOR PANS/PANDAS FAMILIES :star2: - Octapharma has just announced encouraging results from a rigorous Phase III clinical trial of PANZYGA®, an IVIG treatment being studied for its effects on pediatric acute-onset neuropsychiatric syndrome (PANS). - While the primary measure (OCD symptom reduction) did not reach statistical significance, the trial showed clinically meaningful improvement in children’s overall condition, with significant results in the Clinical Global Impression (CGI) — a measure that reflects the full impact of this disease, from behavior and cognition to quality of life. - Kids who received PANZYGA® showed more robust improvement, and notably, those who got the treatment early continued to do better over time.
