The Primary elections are almost here and with each labor walk, our rank and file union volunteers are taking concrete steps to ensure that no worker is left unheard. Eager to actively engage in our democracy, our union volunteers have consistently shown up for our labor candidates, ready to have their backs on Election Day. This weekend, union members walked to elect Assemblyman Kevin Egan (IBEW 456) in Legislative District 17, and his running mate Assemblyman Joe Danielsen, and Bergen County Commissioner Tom Sullivan (IBEW 164) and his running mates, Germaine Ortiz and Mary Amoroso. Thanks to the efforts of our Central Labor Council officers who recruit volunteers, and our affiliates who open up their union halls, our labor walks are a resounding success each week. Each of your efforts goes a long way towards improving the lives of working families and protecting our democracy. Working together, we will enact positive change that lasts for generations of workers across our labor movement. (fb)

Energized and ready to secure a victory on election day, each weekend our union volunteers are putting in the work, united by their common goal of ensuring the continued prosperity of our labor movement. With each face-to-face conversation that union members have with with their brothers and sisters, we are one step closer to electing our labor candidates to office. We are grateful to each and everyone of the hundreds of union volunteers who made a tangible difference this weekend, as they walked to elect Assemblyman Kevin Egan (IBEW 456) in Legislative District 17, and his running mate Assemblyman Joe Danielsen, and Bergen County Commissioner Tom Sullivan (IBEW 164) and his running mates, Germaine Ortiz and Mary Amoroso. We thank everyone who has generously taken the time to actively participate in our labor walks including our Central Labor Council officers who recruit volunteers, and our affiliates who open up their union halls. United together, under one labor movement, we will win! (fb)
