Connecticut Ballet presents FAMILY MATINEE AT THE BALLET! Saturday, May 3 at 11:00am at The Bushnell in Hartford Children (recommended ages 3 to 10) and their favorite grown-ups are invited to enjoy a very special morning with Connecticut Ballet! Narrated by Artistic Director Brett Raphael, this 75-minute program will take its young audience ‘backstage at the ballet’ to meet the ballerina and her partner, learn about pointe shoes, choreography, and much more. The program will include classical ballet excerpts from "The Sleeping Beauty," "Swan Lake," and a rollicking New Orleans jazz closer.
