Western Forest Economists Western Forest Economists Menu Welcome to the WFE The Western Forest Economists WFE is a nonprofit group that welcomes membership from any interested party. For more than 50 years WFE has provided opportunities to gather with fellow forest economists and discuss current research issues and trends. The WFE informal meeting format encourages discussion and interchange while fostering a unique professional community. Each year the WFE Board will annually select an established conference with connections to forest economics and host a WFE Day in conjunction with those dates.
