Currently a member of Civic’s Board of Directors and part of Civic’s Education Committee, Tom has directed, stage managed and acted in numerous productions for Civic including “A Christmas Story The Musical,” “Grease,” “The Nerd,” “Guys and Dolls,” “The Boys Next Door,” and “Little Shop of Horrors.” Tom is one of the co-founders of The Inland Northwest Theatre Arts Festival, and directed summer Drama Camp for students aged 12 – 17 for 15 years. WELCOME Founded in 1947 Spokane Civic Theatre is an awardwinning nonprofit community theatre. The organization which initially operated out of a number of historical downtown Spokane venues is a cultural beacon in the Inland Northwest and a fixture in downtown Spokanes North Bank area since 1967. With two performance spaces and an active education program each season Civic produces 15 20 plays musicals and other live eventscreated by more than 400 volunteer creative contributors serving approximately 30000 audience membersand conducts innumerable performing arts classes predominantly for the youth of the community. To date Civic has mounted more than 800 productions has represented Spokane at local national and international festivals and has fostered throngs of artists entertainment professionals and educators.
