St. John’s United is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization founded in 1960 & owned by 24 Montana congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The good work of St. John’s United spans the entire state of Montana, offering a wide array of services to older adults, families, & children—with no regard to religious preference, race, gender, age, diagnosis or disability. With humble beginnings as Montana’s first HUD-financed senior retirement community, St. John’s has grown to become one of the largest providers for eldercare in Montana, offering a full continuum of care & services.
