News
We planted 8 new trees at McKinley Elementary, part of Central Unified School District yesterday. We were very impressed with the students who came out to volunteer (great manners!) and it was very nice to meet the interim superintendent, Dr. Eimear O'Brien and Principal, Dr. Marilu Cano. Madison Elementary is the next Central Unified school in the queue, scheduled to receive 30 trees (soon!), under the Valley Air District Urban Greening grant. (fb)
