Several members of the community showed up all historicallyminded but having no intent on purchasing the property. As discussion grew about the history of the log house and its original owners the Gutelius39 the conversation turned toward the buyer39s intent to tear the house down for its logs. A decision was made on the spot thanks to nearby neighbors who offered to put up the money for this 1803 house.
