Grade 1 students are creating original board games as part of their procedural writing unit! Procedural writing, also known as how-to writing, is an important writing genre as it helps us explain procedures by identifying the steps in the correct order. They have chosen themes, templates, game materials, and special features of their games and are now painting their boxes, coloring their final boards, and checking their instructions. (fb)

Today, while we welcomed our admitted families to learn more about our School, Grade 2 students decorated the hallway with explanations and examples of belonging! We are so pleased to have a welcoming and growing community where both new and old students can create connections. (fb)
