In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, on May 31, 2025, KAC-LA proudly participated in a vibrant Los Angeles citywide community beautification event, SHINE - LA, AAPI DAY OF SERVICE. Our KAC Board Member, Aaron Pyon, along with the National College Leadership Conference cohorts, joined our staff to volunteer with other dedicated community organizations. From neighborhood cleanups to graffiti removal, resource fairs, and tree planting, we showcased our unity and dedication to civic engagement in Koreatown, a neighborhood with a large AANHPI population.
