Heaven Will Wait
We provide support, resources and guidance for those who are ready for treatment in the right direction. Heaven Will Wait - Never Give Up is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and is made up of loving & caring people who have a loved one touched by the disease of addiction. We go out to the streets to help those directly hit by this epidemic, and provide them with love, support and necessities. We help with clothing for those on the streets, treatment centers and recovery houses. We build relationships with those on the streets, so that when they are ready for treatment, they know to call us and we will be there for them to help them before and during treatment. Our goal is to help everyone see that recovery is possible. So many of our loved ones have been affected by this growing epidemic and we are here to help those affected & let them know that they are not alone. We're Here To Support! One of the things we feel is very important when dealing with addiction is helping the loved ones who are often left feeling alone and helpless with no where to turn. Our support group is filled with love and compassion from people who have been through or who are going through the same feelings, emotions and quite often the never ending roller coaster ride of addiction. We are here to help you and show you the many different ways to help you and your loved one. No judgments, no shame, a place where you can come and be yourself, find yourself again and learn new things. Every Tuesday night we offer women's shower night from 5:30pm to 9:00pm at Prevention Point. This is for any women who are homeless struggling with addiction. We provide showers, clothing, hygiene products, food, craft activity and resources. A great opportunity to volunteer and serve as well! Located at 2913 Kensington Ave, Philadelphia Pa 19134 We mentor those in recovery and help them with building resumes, job search, fill out forms, advocate for those who need someone to advocate for them. Assist and encourage the work of other organizations and ministries in their fight against addiction and homelessness. Go to court with those who need support to straighten out legal issues related to their addiction. We partner with a number of other community organizations, hospitals, rehab facilities, and attend community events to bring awareness to communities about addiction and homelessness.
