Harvest is non-profit residental childrens home in Virgina. SInce 1993 we have provided a loving home to over 2,000 abused, abandoned or troubled kids ages 5-18 Serving Christ through kids for 30 years! THE ORGANIZATION IS OPERATED AS A EMERGENCY SHELTER AND HOME FOR ABUSED, NEGLECTED AND TROUBLED CHILDREN OF SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA. IT PROVIDES SERVICES FOR THE LOCAL DEPARTMENTS OF SOCIAL SERVICES. IT IS PAID ON A FEE FOR SERVICE BASIS BY MEDICAID. IT ALSO RECEIVES FUNDING FROM MANY INDIVIDUALS AND LOCAL CHRUCHS.

Harvest Child Care Ministries Harvest Child Care Ministries mission is to provide a healthy Christian home environment caring parents and a wholesome family life to the abused neglected abandoned or troubled children placed in our care. While there are a lot of different components and strategies that go into implementing this mission the most basic yet most important is caring parents. How can you have a home without parents and how can you have a Christian home without Christian parents. Finding interested qualified staff to be houseparents and youth care specialists is our most challenging and critical need.
