Himalayan Stove Project
We distribute free, clean-burning and efficient clean cook stoves to people of the Himalayas. Our stoves save lives and help preserve the environment. Our mission is transforming the lives of individuals and families living in the Mt. Everest region and in other remote villages in Nepal who now cook with traditional, rudimentary stoves or over open pit fire pits inside their homes by providing clean, vented, fuel efficient Envirofit cook stoves to as many people as we can.

I'm baaaakkkk - after three months; starting in Oslo for the Explorers Club Lowell Thomas Awards weekend; then to Egypt catching up with son Chris; on to Jordan (Petra was incredible); Chris' work demanded his return; I went on to Oman; the Gulf States; Ethiopia; Gorilla Tracking in the Congo, Madagascar and back home to Taos just in time for the holidays.
