We are a non-profit center based in Mesa, Arizona that serves weekly meals and offers worship opportunities to the local community on Tuesday nights. Every Tuesday in Mesa and Thursday in Tempe we share a home-cooked meal with people whose personal journeys may or may not be different from our own, families and individuals who are struggling to make ends meet, the working poor and the homeless. Many people in Arizona are one paycheck away from homelessness. La Mesa Ministries was established to work together with the community to restore dignity to the homeless and the working poor in Mesa, Arizona, and surrounding communities. We want everyone who comes through our doors to know that we will treat them with dignity, and that there is a community of believers who genuinely care about them. At La Mesa Ministries we walk alongside and offer a hand up for the homeless and working poor who are ready to break the cycle of life’s circumstances. We provide hope and change to a life without hope. We show dignity and compassion while connecting them with available local resources. We promote dignity and compassion while creating trust among those we serve.
