Official account for the historic American Legion Paris Post 1. Founded in 1919 in the aftermath of WW1. Veterans helping veterans, Paris Post #1 received it's charter from the American Legion on December Paris Post 1 was chartered by the American Legion on December 13, 1919, just several months after the first Caucus meetings of the Legion in Paris in the 7th arrondissement in March 1919. Paris Post 1 members have been actively supporting the community for over 100 years. One of the main reasons why American veterans and their family members join Paris Post 1 is to support the legacy that has been preserved and continuing for over 100 years. As of 2019, Paris Post 1 celebrated their 100 year birthday.Your contributions and donations are essential to our existence, and they enable us to perform our ceremonial duties throughout the year. It also helps us grow our membership so that we can keep the legacy alive. Thank you for supporting Paris Post 1 !
