CASA of Clackamas County

Every child deserves a safe, permanent home. CASA of Clackamas County helps get them there. To learn more about becoming a CASA volunteer, call 503-723-0521. CASA of Clackamas County believes that every child who has experienced abuse or neglect should have the opportunity to thrive. CASA of Clackamas County’s mission is to recruit, train, and support court appointed special advocates: community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children in the foster care system who need safe, permanent homes. CASA of Clackamas County provides quality volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children who are in foster care. CASA volunteers go through extensive training (40 hours) and are assigned a trained staff manager to guide and support them through the length of the case. Many times, the CASA volunteer is the one constant adult in the child’s life during this time, carrying the child’s story throughout foster care.
