On National Rescue Dog Day, Skip's foster mama wants to praise her foster boy Skip. Since returning home from a 3 & 1/2 week stay with Pam @pawsitivelyobedientdog, Skip has shown so much improvement with his behavior. She was struggling with being consistent with him. They are both doing a better job at managing his energy and issues. Skip was going to be euthanized at the OC Shelter when he was only about 8 months old. We saved him back in September of 2023. We would really love to find him an active home where he can get lots of exercise. Skip loves walks and hiking. He definitely has a preference for females. We don't know what happened in his past, but he has a fear of men. 😪 Skip gets along great with his foster dog siblings as well as our cat. Skip's DNA is mostly Chihuahua and Miniature Pincher with a splash of Pomeranian (check out his curly tail) and a few other breeds. The first video is when foster mom went to pick Skip up from training. It took him a minute to realize who she was. He really is a sweet boy who just needs a patient and understanding person to give him a loving forever home. The photo in the stroller was Skip's first trip to Marshall's/Homegoods. He did great. He had been to Home Depot multiple times without the stroller as well as many restaurants with patios. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕Nevie is super sweet, loving and energetic. She is about 3-4 years old. She loves toys, treats, cuddles and playing with her foster siblings. Nevie came to us very emaciated but is in perfect condition now. Nevie is skittish and fearful with new people however it doesn’t take long for her to warm up to new people as long as introductions are made properly. She knows how to use the doggie door to go potty outside or she will let foster mom know that she wants to go out. She will also use a pee pad inside. She does pee a little if she is scared. Nevie would do best with a confident sibling at home where she can play all day. She needs a yard as she loves to do zoomies and play tag with other dogs. Nevie is a stage five clinger and doesn’t know what personal space is. She will be all up in your face as much as possible. She loves to burrow in the big bed. Nevie is being fostered in Sacramento.
