🪖 Army Day -- or Armed Forces Day -- was established in the 1920s to draw public attention to national defense and to acquaint the public with Army activities. Its observance on April 6 coincides with the US' entry into World War I in 1917. 🎖️ SCHS has collections of US military photographs, documents, and memorabilia.
