SeizingPsych Inc.
We open the discussion around mental health to reduce stigma and encourage others to participate, educate, and advocate for mental health! Encouraging everyone to get involved in educating the public and themselves about mental illness, to abolish the stigma, and help the community. SeizingPsych, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting individuals and families in need who are living with severe brain illnesses. We provide individual peer and family support, help with navigating and acquiring resources, offer educational materials, and provide grants during times of financial crisis. Our programs focus on person-centered recovery and empowering people to lead independent lives. Additionally, we offer free, interactive advocacy and educational programs to raise community awareness about severe brain illnesses. We aim to minimize stigma and empower community members to participate in our call to action by initiating engaging discussions about mental health and illness.
