Palama Settlement was established in 1896 and later emerged in 1905 as a social service agency. Over the years, Palama Settlement has pioneered the development of many innovative programs to address the ever changing needs of the Kalihi and Palama community and its residents. Palama Settlement staff and facilities provides a safe and nurturing environment to youth, families and seniors. Our mission is to help those with the greatest needs in our community empowering them to enhance their well-being through education, health and well-being.
