CCF ACHIEVES THESE GOALS BY PROVIDING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND FINANCING TO OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND FOR PROFIT BUSINESSES IN BRIDGEPORT IN NEED OF SUCH SUPPORT. ADDITIONALLY, CCF PROVIDES FINANCING TO LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO QUALIFY FOR CREDIT FROM BANKS, AND FOR THE REHABILITATION AND NEW CONSTRUCTION OF MULTIFAMILY HOUSING AND MIXED USE RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES. PROJECTS FINANCED BY CCF BENEFIT LOW AND MODERATE INCOME PERSONS AND SPECIAL NEEDS POPULATIONS IN TARGETED NEIGHBORHOODS IN THE BPT AREA. FUNDING FOR THESE LOANS HAS BEEN PROVIDED FROM LOCAL BANKS, GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES AND NOT FOR PROFIT SOURCES.
