The North Port Symphony (NPS) is an orchestra for and by our community. Our mission is to share the joy of music with others through educational and engaging musical opportunities for the North Port community here in Sarasota County.

Sharing the Joy of Music Home About Support Concerts Education Join the Symphony Contact More The North Port Symphony was founded in 1983 by a handful of local residents who were interested in playing music for their own enjoyment as well as for the community. St. Pauls Presbyterian Church served as the Symphonys home until November of 2001 when we moved to our current home in the Music Suite adjacent to the Performing Arts Center on the North Port High School Campus. The Symphony is comprised of amateur and professional musicians as well as advanced students.
