Advocate the importance of Medical Amnesty at college institutions and improve the implementation and training of such policy on campuses, as well as addressing the disparity of the Medical Amnesty Policy's protection for student-athletes vs non-athletes. The Foundation would like to effectively influence the NCAA to make a national Med Amnesty recommendation to all its universities.

McCrae Williams Foundation McCrae Williams Foundation Advocating for Medical Amnesty for students at college campuses Foundation Foundation Mission The Foundations mission is to positively carry forward McCraes legacy in two primary areas Advocating for Change The Foundation advocates for raising awareness of Medical Amnesty and improving how the policy is implemented on college campuses with three clear objectives Building Awareness with Research In early 2019 we partnered with Prevention Strategies previously called the Institute to Promote Athlete Health Wellness or IPAHW at University of NC Greensboro UNCG. Prevention Strategies is closely affiliated with many national health organizations as well as the NCAA their Chief Medical Officer and the NCAAs Sport Science Institute called APPLE. They have been instrumental in conducting research on many topics for the NCAA. With grants from the Foundation we have worked closely with this team further our research including numerous publications and developed opportunities to present our findings.
