Delivering Change: Healthy Moms-Healthy Babies is the initiative of the Geary County Perinatal Coalition. TO IMPROVE COMMUNITY HEALTH AND WELLBEING THROUGH: IMPROVING THE HEALTH OF WOMEN DURING THEIR CHILDBEARING YEARS, INCLUDING PRENATAL HEALTH; TO PROMOTE BREASTFEEDING; TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF INFANTS AND CHILDREN; AND TO ENGAGE, EDUCATE, AND EMPOWER FATHERS.

Delivering Change – Delivering Change Welcome to the Delivering Change Initiative Delivering Change is an exciting Geary County project created in response to a growing need for improved access to healthcare improved health of women of childbearing age and improved outcomes for the babies born in our community. In 2011 several startling statistics came to light regarding the health of babies born to Geary County mothers. The Geary County Perinatal Coalition was formed to take a closer look at the issues surrounding these births. Delivering Change Healthy FamiliesHealthy Communities uses aFourPronged Approachto improving birth outcomes by focusing onWomens Health Infant Health Breastfeeding and Fatherhood.
