New England Eye Institute Inc

New England Eye (NEE), the patient care and clinical education affiliate of the New England College of Optometry (NECO), was founded in 1973. The mission is to improve the visual health of populations through collaborative and community-oriented patient care, education, and research. Our clinicians and students provide 85,000 patient visits per year, with approximately 60% of those served representing disadvantaged populations. NEE health care professionals provide compassionate eye care at 43 community health care facilities throughout Greater Boston, as well as in two fully owned eye clinics in Boston and Roslindale. Our efforts are directed towards making a difference in the lives of frail elders, the homeless, disabled individuals, and low income children. We work closely with collaborators to provide outstanding comprehensive care in the most culturally-sensitive and financially-viable manner possible.
