Honolulu is Hot Trees are Cool We are doing something about it, will you? TREES... reduce temperature by 10 degrees in their shade clean pollution from the air absorb and store CO2 which slows down climate change protect our reefs from runoff regenerate soil improve psyschological and physical well being We: 1) Facilitate the planting and caring for new trees and the protecting of existing trees in communities across O‘ahu and specifically connecting communities with expert assistance and funding. 2) Educate the public and government officials on the benefit of the right tree, in the right place, getting the right care. 3) Advocate for laws, policies, projects, and funding that support the planting and caring for and protection of trees. TREES ARE COOL...AND WE THANK YOU!
