We were excited to be able to assist with installing seven new benches at Jerry Burrell Park. These benches are an addition to the community-inspired art projects created at the park by the Jerry Burrell Arts Collaborative (@jbartcollab) via Hamilton Hill Arts Center. The City of Schenectady stored the benches until they were ready to be installed. Students from RPI put the benches together, and they were ultimately installed at the park by some of our regular volunteers. At face value, these are just benches, but they are also a reminder that it often takes community collaboration to get things done, and we're just grateful there are so many people willing to help! 👏 (fb)
