Someoneβs Child β Helping Hands is a nonprofit organization that was born from a simple Facebook group meant to help parents that had lost children to substance use overdoses. Unfortunately we found the need for our group grew exponentially as the opioid crisis grew. We now help angel parents who have lost their children, parents of people struggling with SUD or previously known as addiction, people in the throws of their SUD and people trying to find recovery. We have worked to find rehabilitation facilities and counseling, paid transportation for people trying to get into facilities, temporary shelter and care packages since a majority of them have nothing upon entering rehabilitation and assi
