Harold Neumann 1906-1995. From Geneseo, IL. He won the Greve & Thompson Trophies for racing planes in 1935. He is inducted in the Aviation Hall of Fame and is remembered in the Smithsonian as well as other Museums in Oshkosh, Cleveland and San Francisco

Why now. Why after all these years are we bringing Harold Neumanns accomplishments back to light. A few years ago two of Harolds cousins felt that Harolds accomplishments in aviation were an important part of Geneseos history and that is how the quest to educate our community about Harold Neumann began.
