Children First Family Services
The primary mission of Children First Family Services is to provide support and services to abused and neglected children. Children are lingering in foster care for longer than the usual time frame of 18-24 months and we are now seeing children in foster care for 4 or more years without an option for permanency . We are working towards providing a more natural visitation space so the biological parents can demonstrate whether they can or cannot parent. We are also exploring services, case management and advocacy services to our much needed and under-served community for both children in care, non dependent children and teens as well as their biological parents, caregivers, and foster parents.
