REPUBLICANS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION Once upon a time between 1995 and 2010 to be precise there was an active and energetic national organization called Republicans for Environmental Protection. Such green Republicans still do exist but the organization that they created in 1995 is now a thing of the past. In 2020 a few stalwarts relaunched this website to preserve REPs history activities publications and policy positions on a wide range of environmental and conservation issues which are all still relevant still critical and even more in need of attention now than before. For fifteen years the name Republicans for Environmental Protection told people exactly who we were and what we were all about.
