“Volunteering made direct.” We connect adult learners with volunteer advisors & mentors. Local requests are right on on our website! Video/Virtual connections We match adult volunteers 1:1 with an adult who has a learning need & wants a little help. Each learner is described on our website. By personalizing every need upfront, we hope to create great matches for limitless learning topics. We're launching in 2020 by working with local adult schools. Their students are immigrants & low-educated adults who would appreciate meeting a volunteer. Our ultimate vision is to be an ongoing platform where any adult with a learning goal can ask for help from someone in the broader community. With the social & economic gaps in the bay area, we especially want to give a voice to people with a higher goal, but simply lack access to anyone who can help. And in doing so, we hope to inspire more volunteers with a transparent & easy process.
